🦞 Garlic Parmesan Lobster Tails (Broiled or Baked)
⭐ Ingredients:
-
2 lobster tails (5–6 oz each), thawed if frozen
-
3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
-
3 cloves garlic, minced
-
2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
-
¼ tsp smoked paprika (optional)
-
⅓ cup grated Parmesan cheese
-
2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
-
Salt & black pepper, to taste
-
Lemon wedges, for serving
🔪 Instructions:
1. Prepare Lobster Tails
-
Preheat oven to broil (high) or bake at 425°F (220°C).
-
Using kitchen shears, cut down the center of the top shell lengthwise, stopping at the tail. Gently pry the shell open and lift the lobster meat, resting it on top of the shell (“piggyback style”).
2. Make Garlic Butter
-
In a bowl, mix melted butter, garlic, lemon juice, paprika, salt, and pepper.
3. Brush Lobster
-
Place the lobster tails on a baking sheet lined with foil. Brush generously with the garlic butter mixture.
4. Top with Parmesan
-
Sprinkle Parmesan cheese evenly over the lobster meat.
5. Broil or Bake
-
Broil for 8–10 minutes (depending on size), until the lobster meat is opaque and the top is golden brown.
OR Bake for 12–15 minutes at 425°F until cooked through and bubbly on top.
6. Garnish & Serve
-
Sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve with lemon wedges and extra melted butter, if desired.
📝 Tips:
-
Internal temp of lobster should reach 140–145°F (60–63°C).
-
For a full meal, serve with garlic mashed potatoes, buttered asparagus, or a Caesar salad.
-
Want a crispy topping? Mix Parmesan with 1 tbsp of panko breadcrumbs before sprinkling.
