Garbage Bread is a fun, customizable stuffed bread—basically a rolled loaf packed with whatever leftovers or favorite fillings you’ve got. It’s popular for game days and easy dinners.

  • Cooked meats (pepperoni, sausage, bacon, chicken)
  • Cheese (mozzarella, cheddar, provolone)

  • Sauce (pizza sauce, marinara, ranch, or BBQ)

Easy Garbage Bread Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 can refrigerated pizza dough (or homemade)
  • 1–1½ cups mixed fillings (cooked)
  • 1–1½ cups shredded cheese
  • ½ cup sauce (optional)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Garlic powder & Italian seasoning (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F / 190°C.
  2. Roll pizza dough into a rectangle on parchment paper.
  3. Spread sauce lightly (leave a border).
  4. Add fillings evenly, then top with cheese.
  5. Roll up tightly (like a jelly roll) and pinch seams closed.
  6. Place seam-side down, brush with olive oil, sprinkle seasoning.
  7. Bake 20–25 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Cool 5 minutes, slice, and serve.

Tips

  • Don’t overfill or it may burst.
  • Great for using leftovers.
  • Serve with extra sauce for dipping.
