  • 2 cups beef or chicken broth

Instructions

1. Prepare the Mashed Potatoes

  1. Boil potatoes in salted water until tender (about 15–20 minutes).
  2. Drain and mash with butter and milk until smooth.
  3. Season with salt and pepper. Cover and keep warm.

2. Make the Minced Meat Gravy

  1. Heat oil or butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add chopped onion and garlic; sauté until soft and fragrant.
  3. Add minced meat and cook until browned, breaking up clumps with a spoon.
  4. Sprinkle flour over the meat and stir well to coat evenly.
  5. Slowly add broth while stirring to prevent lumps.
  6. Add Worcestershire sauce, thyme, salt, and pepper.
  7. Let simmer for 10 minutes until gravy thickens to your desired consistency.

3. Serve

  • Spoon a generous portion of mashed potatoes onto each plate.
  • Pour the savory minced meat gravy over the top.
  • Garnish with chopped parsley if desired.
