Ham and Doritos sandwich.

Certainly. Here’s a simple, formal recipe for a Ham and Doritos Sandwich — a crunchy, savory twist on a classic deli sandwich. This recipe combines the saltiness of ham with the bold flavor and crunch of Doritos, layered between soft sandwich bread or rolls.

Ham and Doritos Sandwich

Servings: 1

Prep Time: 5–10 minutes

Total Time: 5–10 minutes

Ingredients

  • 2 slices of sandwich bread or 1 sandwich roll (white, whole wheat, or brioche)

  • 2–3 slices of deli ham (smoked or honey ham)

  • 1/4 cup crushed Doritos (Nacho Cheese or preferred flavor)

  • 1 slice of cheddar or American cheese (optional)

  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise or mustard (optional)

  • Lettuce, tomato, or pickles (optional, for added freshness)

Instructions

  1. Toast the bread (optional) for extra texture.

  2. Spread condiments on one or both slices of bread.

  3. Layer the sandwich in this order:

    • Bottom bread slice

    • Ham slices

    • Cheese (if using)

    • Crushed Doritos (add just before serving to keep them crispy)

    • Optional toppings (lettuce, tomato, pickles)

    • Top bread slice

  4. Press gently to hold together. Slice in half, if desired.

Serving Suggestions:

  • Serve immediately to preserve Doritos’ crunch.

  • Pair with a cold soda or iced tea and a side of fresh fruit or chips.

Variations:

  • Use spicy or cool ranch Doritos for a flavor change.

  • Swap ham for turkey or chicken.

  • Add a fried egg for a breakfast-style version.
