Ingredients

1 can (14 oz / 396 g) sweetened condensed milk

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions
1. Preheat Oven

Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F).

Line an 8×8-inch (or similar size) baking pan with parchment paper or grease lightly.
2. Mix Ingredients

In a medium bowl, combine the shredded coconut, sweetened condensed milk, vanilla extract, and salt.

Stir until well mixed.

If using add-ins like chocolate chips or nuts, fold them in now.
3. Spread in Pan

Transfer the mixture into the prepared pan.

Press down gently and evenly with a spatula or damp fingers.
4. Bake

Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the top is lightly golden brown.

Edges will be firmer and caramelized.
5. Cool and Cut

Let cool completely in the pan.

Lift out using parchment (if used), and cut into bars or squares.
