1 package (3.4 oz / 96 g) instant vanilla pudding mix

1 cup (240 ml) cold milk (whole or 2%)

1 cup (240 ml) heavy cream, whipped (or 1 tub whipped topping)

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)

1/2 cup sweetened shredded coconut (optional, for texture and flavor)

Optional garnish: toasted coconut, chopped nuts, or maraschino cherries
Instructions
1. Prepare the Base

In a medium mixing bowl, combine the crushed pineapple with its juice and the instant vanilla pudding mix.

Stir until the pudding mix is fully dissolved and the mixture thickens slightly (1–2 minutes).
2. Add Milk

Gradually whisk in the cold milk until smooth. Let sit for 5 minutes to thicken.
3. Fold in Cream

Gently fold in the whipped cream (or whipped topping) until fully combined and fluffy.

Add the vanilla extract and shredded coconut if using, and stir gently.
4. Chill

Spoon the mixture into a serving dish or individual cups.
