Crispy Air Fryer Cauliflower
Servings
4 servings
Ingredients
-
1 medium head cauliflower, cut into bite-size florets
-
2 tablespoons olive oil
-
1/2 cup breadcrumbs (panko for extra crunch)
-
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
-
1 teaspoon garlic powder
-
1 teaspoon paprika
-
1/2 teaspoon salt
-
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
-
Cooking spray (as needed)
Instructions
1. Prepare the Cauliflower
-
Rinse and dry the cauliflower florets thoroughly so they crisp up well in the air fryer.
2. Season
-
In a large bowl, toss the florets with olive oil until evenly coated.
-
In a separate bowl, mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan (if using), garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
-
Toss the oiled cauliflower in the breadcrumb mixture until well coated.
3. Preheat the Air Fryer
-
Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 3 minutes.
4. Air Fry
-
Arrange the cauliflower in a single layer in the air fryer basket (do not overcrowd; cook in batches if necessary).
-
Lightly spray the tops with cooking spray.
-
Cook for 12–15 minutes, shaking or turning halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
5. Serve
-
Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce such as ranch, spicy mayo, or garlic aioli.
Tips
-
For extra crispiness, add 1 tablespoon cornstarch to the breadcrumb mix.
-
If you prefer a lighter version, skip the breadcrumbs and just season the florets directly before air frying.
-
To make it vegan, omit Parmesan or replace it with nutritional yeast.
Would you like me to include a spicy dipping sauce recipe to serve with it (for example, a chili-garlic or sriracha mayo)?
