1 (1–1.5 lb) pork tenderloin

1 teaspoon salt
-
½ teaspoon black pepper
-
1 teaspoon garlic powder
-
1 teaspoon onion powder
-
1 tablespoon olive oil
-
1 cup chicken broth
-
¼ cup soy sauce or Worcestershire sauce (optional for extra flavor)
-
2 tablespoons honey or brown sugar (optional for sweetness)
-
Fresh herbs for garnish (rosemary, thyme, or parsley)
Instructions
1. Prepare the Pork
-
Pat pork tenderloin dry with paper towels.
-
Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
-
Optional: Sear in a hot skillet with olive oil for 2–3 minutes per side to lock in flavor (optional but recommended).
2. Add to Crock Pot
-
Place the tenderloin in the slow cooker.
-
Pour chicken broth and optional soy sauce or Worcestershire sauce over the meat.
-
Add honey or brown sugar if you like a touch of sweetness.
3. Cook
-
Cover and cook on LOW for 6–8 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours, until pork is tender and internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
4. Serve
-
Remove tenderloin and let rest for 5–10 minutes.
-
Slice and serve with the cooking juices or thicken them into a sauce.
-
Garnish with fresh herbs.
Tips
-
Add vegetables like carrots, potatoes, and onions around the pork for a one-pot meal.
-
For a thicker sauce, remove the pork and simmer the liquid on the stove with 1 teaspoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons water until thickened.
-
Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3–4 days or freeze for later.
