π Ingredients:
For the Steak:

1 lb (450g) sirloin steak or ribeye, cut into bite-sized cubes

Salt and pepper, to taste

1 tbsp olive oil
For the Potatoes:

1 lb (450g) baby potatoes, halved or quartered
-
1β2 tbsp olive oil
-
Salt, pepper, paprika (to taste)
Garlic Butter:
-
3 tbsp unsalted butter
-
4 cloves garlic, minced
-
1 tsp Italian seasoning or chopped fresh herbs (thyme, rosemary, parsley)
-
Optional: pinch of crushed red pepper flakes or a squeeze of lemon juice for brightness
π³ Instructions:
1. Prep and Sear the Potatoes:

Heat 1β2 tbsp olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

Add the potatoes (cut-side down) and season with salt, pepper, and paprika.

Cook for 12β15 minutes, flipping occasionally, until golden and fork-tender.

Remove and set aside.
2. Sear the Steak:

Season steak cubes with salt and pepper.

In the same skillet, heat 1 tbsp oil over high heat.

Add steak pieces in a single layer (donβt overcrowd).

Sear for 2β3 minutes per side until browned and cooked to your desired doneness.

Remove steak and set aside (tent with foil to keep warm).
3. Make Garlic Butter:

Lower heat to medium.

Add butter to the pan, then stir in minced garlic and herbs.

Cook for 30 seconds to 1 minute, until fragrant (donβt burn the garlic!).
4. Combine Everything:

Return potatoes and steak to the skillet.

Toss in the garlic butter to coat everything well.

Cook together for another 1β2 minutes to reheat and blend flavors.
