GROUND BEEF NOODLES

Ground Beef Noodles are a classic, cozy comfort dish — rich, saucy beef tossed with tender noodles in a creamy or savory sauce. It’s easy, affordable, and on the table in under 30 minutes.Here’s a delicious one-pan recipe that works any night of the week 👇


🥘 Ground Beef Noodles (Creamy One-Pot Style)

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef (80–90% lean)

  • 1 Tbsp olive oil (if beef is very lean)

  • 1 small onion, diced

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 2 cups beef broth

  • 1½ cups milk (whole or 2%)

  • 2 Tbsp soy sauce or Worcestershire sauce

  • 2 tsp paprika

  • ½ tsp black pepper

  • ½ tsp salt (adjust to taste)

  • 8 oz egg noodles (uncooked)

  • ½ cup sour cream (or heavy cream for richer flavor)

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional, for cheesy version)

  • 2 Tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)


👩‍🍳 Instructions

1. Brown the beef

  1. In a large skillet or deep sauté pan, heat oil over medium-high heat.

  2. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon.

  3. Drain excess grease if needed.

  4. Add onion and garlic, cook 2–3 minutes until soft and fragrant.


2. Make the sauce

  1. Stir in beef broth, milk, soy/Worcestershire sauce, paprika, salt, and pepper.

  2. Bring to a simmer.


3. Cook the noodles

  1. Add uncooked egg noodles directly into the skillet.

  2. Stir to coat them in the liquid.

  3. Reduce heat to medium, cover, and cook 8–10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until noodles are tender and most liquid is absorbed.

    • If the liquid runs low before noodles are done, add a bit more broth or milk.


4. Make it creamy

  1. Remove from heat.

  2. Stir in sour cream (and cheese, if using) until smooth and creamy.

  3. Taste and adjust seasoning.


5. Serve

  • Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.

  • Great with a side of steamed veggies, green salad, or garlic bread.


💡 Variations

  • Add mushrooms, peas, or spinach for extra nutrition.

  • Make it spicy with a pinch of red pepper flakes or a spoon of hot sauce.

  • Use ground turkey or ground pork instead of beef.

  • Turn it into Beef Stroganoff Noodles by using mushrooms + Dijon mustard in the sauce.
