1 tsp onion powder (optional)

Salt and black pepper, to taste

1β2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

1. Preheat Oven:

Set oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C).
2. Prepare the Parmesan Crust:

In a small bowl, mix:

Parmesan cheese

Garlic powder

Paprika
-
Salt & pepper

3. Oil the Pan:

Drizzle olive oil or melted butter onto the bottom of a baking dish or sheet pan.

Spread it around evenly with a brush or paper towel.
4. Add the Cheese Mix:

Sprinkle the Parmesan mixture evenly over the oiled surface in the shape of where the potato halves will go. This creates that crispy crust.
5. Place Potatoes:

Place the cut side down of each potato half onto the cheese/oil layer.

Press gently to ensure good contact.
6. Bake:

Bake for 35β45 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender and the cheese underneath is golden brown and crispy.
7. Cool Slightly & Serve:

Let rest for 5 minutes, then use a spatula to lift each potato, keeping the crust intact.
