Here’s a crispy roasted cauliflower recipe that’s easy, flavorful, and perfect as a side dish or healthy snack. It gets golden and crisp on the outside while staying tender inside.


🥦 Crispy Roasted Cauliflower Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 large head of cauliflower, cut into florets

  • 2–3 tbsp olive oil (or avocado oil)

  • 1/2 tsp salt (adjust to taste)

  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika (optional, for a smoky flavor)

  • 2–3 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese (optional, for extra crisp and flavor)

  • Optional: a squeeze of lemon juice or chopped parsley for garnish


Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or foil for easy cleanup.

  2. Prepare the cauliflower:

    • Wash and dry the cauliflower thoroughly (moisture prevents crisping).

    • Cut into evenly sized florets for even roasting.

  3. Season:

    • In a large bowl, toss the florets with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.

    • Add Parmesan cheese if using, and toss again to coat.

  4. Roast:

    • Spread the cauliflower in a single layer on the baking sheet. Make sure there’s space between the florets (overcrowding causes steaming).

    • Roast for 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy on the edges.

  5. Finish & Serve:

    • Optionally, sprinkle with lemon juice or fresh herbs right before serving.

    • Serve hot!


🔄 Variations:

  • Spicy: Add a pinch of cayenne or chili flakes.

  • Cheesy: Use more Parmesan or add shredded cheddar in the last 5 minutes.

  • Asian-style: Toss with sesame oil and a drizzle of soy sauce before roasting.
