# Clear your throat and lungs of mucus with this recipe – just 2 ingredients

Excess mucus in the throat and lungs is usually caused by colds, allergies, sinus drainage, reflux, or irritation from smoke/pollution. While no simple recipe can “instantly clear” your lungs, certain natural ingredients can soothe irritation and help loosen mucus. 🌿

Here’s a simple, safe 2-ingredient option often recommended for relief:


🍯 2-Ingredient Soothing Mixture

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon raw honey
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

How to Use

  • Mix together and take 1 tablespoon 1–2 times daily.
  • You can also stir it into warm (not boiling) water and sip slowly.

Honey

  • Coats and soothes the throat
  • Has mild antimicrobial properties

Lemon

Additional Tips to Clear Mucus
