Ingredients:

  • 1 medium head of cauliflower, cut into florets
  • 2–3 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Optional: garlic powder, smoked paprika, or parmesan for extra flavor

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Oven:
    Set your oven to 425°F (220°C). A hot oven is key for crispiness.
  2. Prepare Cauliflower:
    Wash and thoroughly dry the florets. Moisture will prevent crisping.
  3. Season:
    Toss the cauliflower with olive oil, salt, pepper, and any spices you like. Make sure each piece is lightly coated.
  4. Arrange on Baking Sheet:
    Spread florets in a single layer with space between them. Crowding causes steaming instead of roasting.
  5. Roast:
    Bake for 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until edges are golden brown and crispy.
  6. Optional Finish:
    Sprinkle with parmesan, drizzle with lemon juice, or add fresh herbs before serving.

Tips for Extra Crispiness:

  • Use high heat (425–450°F / 220–230°C).
  • Don’t overcrowd the pan.
  • Toss halfway through baking for even browning.
