A coworker gave me this recipe after raving about it! We finally tried it tonight and woww. This recipe is a keeper!

Ooooh I love when that happens 😄 — coworker-tested recipes are always elite.

Here’s a “keeper” dinner recipe that gets that exact reaction:

🍗 Creamy Garlic Parmesan Chicken (One-Pan Winner)

Ingredients

  • 2–3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • Salt & pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 2 tbsp olive oil or butter
  • 3–4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream (or half-and-half)
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • Optional: spinach or mushrooms
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish)

How to Make It

1️⃣ Season chicken with salt, pepper, paprika.
2️⃣ Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat.
3️⃣ Sear chicken 4–5 minutes per side until golden. Remove and set aside.
4️⃣ In the same pan, sauté garlic (30 seconds).
5️⃣ Add broth + cream. Simmer 3–4 minutes.
6️⃣ Stir in Parmesan until thick and creamy.
7️⃣ Return chicken to pan. Simmer 5–7 minutes until cooked through.
8️⃣ Add spinach at the end if using.

Serve over pasta, rice, or mashed potatoes.

Why It’s a “Keeper”

  • One pan = easy cleanup
  • Creamy but not complicated
  • Tastes restaurant-level
  • Kid and adult approved
  • Leftovers are amazing

If you tell me what kind of dish it actually was (pasta? casserole? dessert?), I can recreate something very close to what your coworker probably shared 👀
