Signs You Have Too Much Blood Sugar…see more

Posted on March 7, 2026 by Admin

High blood sugar, or Hyperglycemia, can show up in subtle ways before it becomes serious. Here are some common signs you may have too much blood sugar:

1. Frequent Urination (Polyuria) 🚽

Excess glucose forces your kidneys to remove more sugar via urine, causing frequent trips to the bathroom, especially at night.

2. Excessive Thirst (Polydipsia) 🥤

Because your body loses water through frequent urination, you may feel constantly thirsty.

3. Unexplained Fatigue 😴

High blood sugar prevents glucose from entering cells efficiently, leaving you tired, weak, or sluggish, even after adequate rest.

4. Blurred Vision 👀

Fluid shifts from high sugar levels can affect the lenses of your eyes, causing temporary blurred vision.

5. Slow-Healing Wounds & Infections 🦶

High glucose can impair blood flow and immune function, making cuts, sores, or infections heal slowly.

6. Tingling or Numbness in Hands/Feet 🔥

Prolonged high blood sugar can damage nerves (Diabetic Neuropathy), leading to tingling, burning, or numbness.

✅ Important:
Experiencing one or two of these occasionally isn’t always dangerous, but if several happen regularly, it’s wise to check your blood sugar and consult a healthcare professional. Early detection can prevent serious complications.

If you want, I can also make a list of 7 silent early signs of high blood sugar that most people ignore.
