Honestly, does anyone here actually eat Brussels sprouts?

Posted on March 29, 2026 by Admin

Honestly? 😄 Yes—a lot of people do, but usually not the way they were served years ago (boiled and bitter
 no thanks).

The secret is how you cook them. When done right, Brussels sprouts are actually really good.

Why people avoided them before

  • Overboiling makes them smelly and mushy
  • That strong sulfur taste turns people off

Why people love them now

  • Roasting or sautĂ©ing brings out a nutty, slightly sweet flavor
  • They get crispy on the outside, tender inside

Easy way to make them taste amazing

Roasted Brussels Sprouts:

  1. Cut them in half
  2. Toss with olive oil, salt, and pepper
  3. Roast at 200°C (400°F) for 20–25 minutes
  4. Add a squeeze of lemon or a drizzle of honey

👉 Optional upgrades:

  • Garlic
  • Parmesan cheese
  • A little balsamic glaze

Reality check

  • Not everyone loves them—and that’s fine
  • But many people who “hate” Brussels sprouts just haven’t had them cooked properly

If you want, I can give you 3 recipes that turn Brussels sprouts into something you’ll actually crave (even if you hate them now).
