🥗 Creamy Seafood Salad Recipe

Ingredients (serves 2–4)

  • 200g cooked shrimp or prawns
  • 150g cooked crab meat (or imitation crab)
  • 100g cooked calamari rings (optional)
  • ½ cup mayonnaise (or Greek yogurt for a lighter version)
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 celery stalk, finely chopped
  • 2–3 spring onions, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional garnish: fresh dill or parsley

Instructions

  1. Prepare the seafood: If not already cooked, boil shrimp and calamari briefly until just done, then let them cool.
  2. Mix dressing: In a bowl, combine mayonnaise (or yogurt), mustard, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
  3. Combine ingredients: Add seafood, celery, and spring onions to the dressing. Mix gently until everything is coated.
  4. Chill: Refrigerate for 30–60 minutes to let flavors meld.
  5. Serve: Garnish with dill or parsley and enjoy on its own or with fresh bread, lettuce leaves, or crackers.

  • For a lighter salad, replace half the mayonnaise with Greek yogurt.
