Since yall know everything what are these called

Posted on April 13, 2026 by Admin

These are acorns—the nuts produced by oak trees.

More specifically, they’re the seeds of an Oak.

What you’re seeing in the image:

  • A basket full of acorns (oak nuts)
  • They vary in color (gold, brown, greenish, dark purple) depending on ripeness and oak species
  • The caps (called “cups”) are usually removed or not visible on many of them

Quick facts:

  • Acorns grow on oak trees in autumn
  • They are food for wildlife like squirrels, deer, and birds
  • Some cultures process certain types for food (after removing tannins)
  • Raw acorns taste bitter because of natural tannins

If you want, I can also tell you whether these are safe to eat or how people traditionally prepare them.
