I seriously had no idea of this method

Haha, yeah—this one surprises a lot of people 😄

The stem-wrapping trick works because bananas release a gas (ethylene) mostly from the stem, and wrapping it slows down the whole ripening chain reaction. It’s simple but actually effective.

If you really want to level it up, here’s a pro combo most people don’t know:

  • Wrap the stems ✔️
  • Keep bananas away from other fruits ✔️
  • Once perfectly yellow, move them to the fridge ✔️

That combo can almost double how long they stay good.

Honestly, it’s one of those small kitchen hacks that makes a big difference once you start using it.
